Advocacy

Part of the CEC's work is building community and facilitating community discussions. Many of these discussions are related to education funding and the impacts of decisions made by the State Legislature, the Anchorage School District (ASD) School Board, and other related organizations. On these advocacy pages, we provide updates, information, and guidance for community members to advocate for our children and their education on several levels.
