The Chugach Educational Corporation (CEC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit managed by a nine-member Board of Directors elected annually by the Chugach Optional Elementary Community Assembly. The CEC facilitates community discussions, oversees fundraising, and manages finances in collaboration with the school principal and Community Assembly. The organization adheres to approved bylaws and follows best practices for non-profit corporations. The CEC holds monthly Executive Meetings and community members are welcome to attend.
